Water Fuel Cells - Can They Save You Money?

All of us are feeling the pain whenever it comes time to standing at the gas pump. As a matter of fact, the numbers seemed to fly by so quickly on the pumps now that it is difficult to even see them move, let alone allow us to pump to an even dollar. Although many of us are frustrated by the situation with rising prices, including that of gas, there may be some relief that is available in a very common product. You may not know this but many people have been running their cars on water and passing by gas station after gas station. This is done through the simple use of water fuel cells.

Water fuel cells are not new technology but they are rarely ever used. The way that it works is actually fairly simple to understand. Water is used and it is broken down into its separate parts. Since water is actually a combination of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom, it can easily be separated into these individual parts and they can be burned for fuel. Most of us are aware of exactly how much energy can come out hydrogen and even the government has used hydrogen in powering larger spacecraft.

What this means for us is a lot of savings whenever it comes to running our automobiles. It is a relatively easy thing to convert your car over to a hybrid which will burn water with the use of water fuel cells and gasoline in approximately a 50-50 mix. Although you will still be dependent on gasoline to a certain extent, you can usually save up to 40% or more by making the simple conversions. The parts that are necessary in order to make the switch will cost you about $60 and they are readily available at most hardware and auto parts stores. All that is really necessary from that point is to put things together and to begin saving money at the gas pump.

One added benefit of using water fuel cells is that it is going to save the environment to a certain degree. Whenever we burn oil based products, the carbon emissions show up the atmosphere and destroy it. By burning water for fuel, however, you are going to end up with water as a byproduct. By separating water into its individual components and then using it for fuel, it will reintroduce itself into a water atom which is completely harmless to the environment around us. So, not only will you be saving money at the gas pump, you will be saving the earth at the same time.

If you would like to be able to stretch your dollar a little bit further and to save 40% or more on your ever-increasing fuel bill, converting to a water burning car is a simple solution. You might be surprised to find out that it is so easy to do that you will be converting your friends cars as well.
